I decided to build a custom model aircraft with the new growth rate for the UMX series, which led me to create a set of checks with my brand-new 4mil Kapton Tape. My first test run involved printing two bases with this tape, and I ended up using supports on the bottom as the indicator lines came out extremely sharp! The UMX bar features metric markers along with standard American fractions of an inch. There are three ways to utilize this file: the 'bullets' by themselves, paired with a 1/2 millimeter rod pressed into their center - which is positioned at the leading edge of the wing - or as shown in the picture, where the arm touches the leading edge and the CG is on the 'bullet'. I set my printer to 110 HBP, 225 ABS, and 40 speed, taking my time since I'm not in a rush. The model was printed with a thin type of ABS Slurry.
