This model is designed for gaming, real-time, or background use exclusively. It's crucial to note that renders created using 3ds Max will not resemble the preview images when utilizing Marmoset Toolbag 3. The Marmoset Toolbag scene is included in the package. The weapon features separate objects to ease animation, including a movable bolt, fire selector, magazine, mag release, trigger, cocking handle, and foldable stock. There are two versions of the geometry available: tris and quads. While tris provide the most accurate shading, the quaded version can be useful for LOD (Level of Detail) generation. The number of polygons is based on the quaded version. Assuring no n-gons, the model has been manually unwrapped for efficient UV space utilization. All objects and materials are appropriately named. Scaled to approximate real-world size (68cm x 7cm x 33cm), the weapon has been tested in Marmoset Toolbag 3, Unreal Engine 4, and Unity Engine without requiring special plugins. Both .obj and .fbx versions have been exported from 3ds Max 2018. Textures include 4096x4096 PBR (Physically-Based Rendering) base color, roughness, metalness, normal, and AO maps. Additionally, 512x512 PBR textures for the .45 ACP cartridge are provided. For users preferring specular/gloss PBR setup, there's a separate download of those textures along with instructions on using them in Unreal Engine 4 and Unity. Substance Painter source files are also available as extra downloads for customizing the textures easily using Substance Painter. Remember to follow the instructions provided for optimal results.
