This is a repair plug designed for an umbrella stand base that measures three feet across and weighs substantially. An eight-foot-tall arm from a ten-foot diameter outdoor umbrella attaches to this base, which screws into the floor. The threaded piece at the bottom of the base broke off, prompting my friend to consider reprinting the entire two-foot-long component, a task beyond the capabilities of most printers. Upon inspection, I determined that a repair plug would be an effective solution. To confirm the cone size, I ran a basic print and then added ribs to prevent the plug from spinning when tightening the 3/8"-16 bolt. My friend reported that the repair was successful.
