Scaling a Turntable to 1:160 Scale, N Gauge, with Control and Drive Featuring a Stepper Motor and Gearbox. Thanks to https://www.thingiverse.com/eisenficker, https://www.thingiverse.com/li_on, and https://www.thingiverse.com/biomushroom for their contributions. The turntable from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:933854) has modifications to the drive shaft and an expanded hole in the turntable pit for a contact grinder. The gearbox is a Raldrich Planetary NEMA17 gearbox from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:775636) with altered fastening. The guardrail and control house are from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1837520) scaled down to 1:160 scale (factor 0.543). The control system is a DCC interface (https://www.dccinterface.com/product/arduino-model-railway-dcc-stepper-motor-controller-a4988-assembled) driven by an Arduino-NANO. The adapted sketch for the Arduino NANO can be found at https://github.com/GuenSchick/Drehscheibe. The track on the turntable is drilled with a 4-pole drill from Aliexpress (22mm diameter and 5mm hole, as shown in the diagram).
