umarex gauntlet barrel band
thingiverse
This band sits atop the intake where the air bottle connects, providing a significantly more stable hold. To secure it, you'll need to drill slots into the fore grip's stock (10mm x 5mm) just ahead of the mount screws. I employed a Dremel with its sander drum attachment for this task. The bottom should fit snugly around the intake, using the same Dremel to remove material as needed from the upper part of the lower hole to maintain proper barrel elevation. To ensure a secure fit, tap the band gently with a screwdriver handle. Notably, the top hole fits tightly over the shroud, necessitating removal of the front nut to slide it on seamlessly. With this band in place, I've experienced no significant point-of-impact (POI) changes.
