This is a lightweight Volcano Head for an Ultimaker 2 using a Volcano Hotend and a Direct drive BMG Extruder including a ADXL345 for InputShaping using Klipper. The Linear Slides are fixed used curled M3x4 knurled nuts and M3 screws from the top and bottom of the head. The Extruder is as high to be above the case not causing any colisions. M3x4 knurled nuts and M3 screws are used in this design. How To Addemble: - Add knurled nuts to the part - Add linear slides inside the block - Fix the linear slides using M3 screws from top and bottom - Add the direct drive mount - Insert the head into the printer and then put the linear rails inside - Fix the head on the linear rails by tapping the mounting blocks inside the printer - Straighten up the mounting blocks gently - (Optionally) Add the IR Level Sensor using a washer on the back - Add the Volcano Hotend to the head - Cut Tube to the right lenght between the BMG and the Volcano - Add the BMG and the Stepper - Add all electronics - Take care about cable management - Set up the new Homing Coordinate for Z (mine is position_endstop=292.7) - Set up the IR Level Sensor
