UM2+ Lazy Lever
youmagine
Disengaging the feeder lever on the Ultimaker2+ can be quite challenging for your fingers. To make this process easier, you need to use this re-designed lever that is longer with a jammer that can slide into the feeder to lock the lever in place, allowing you to feed in or remove filament smoothly. Be aware that your original lever might be glued together, which will make it difficult to disassemble without breaking it. If you do break it, you'll obviously void your warranty. I suggest printing this new lever solid for added strength and using CPE+ for extra heat resistance. You may also want to consider gluing the two halves together. I've only put about 50-60 hours of print time on mine so far, so I'm not sure if it will split apart at the seam. Update: After putting a few hundred hours on this new lever, it's still working perfectly fine.
