UM2 Filament Spindle

There are numerous adaptations of this kind available, but I sought a model that clips onto the printer's top lip and features easy attachment and removal of the spool. In this design, the spool simply rests on the spindle. It can accommodate a spool up to 80mm wide, which is ample for my 1kg spools. The setup is more than capable of handling even larger spools, but I prefer not to exceed 1kg for added stability. With this configuration, the spindle operates smoothly and freely.
