Replacement Filament Guide for the Ultimaker 2 - An Improved Solution. This enhanced guide incorporates a precision bearing, designed to significantly reduce friction while expertly guiding the filament. Inspired by UM2 Filament Guide by Labern (https://www.youmagine.com/designs/um2-filament-guide) and Low Friction UM2 Spoolholder by IRobertI (https://www.youmagine.com/designs/low-friction-um2-spoolholder). Frustrated with the suboptimal performance of the stock Filament guide on the UM2, which added unnecessary friction to the feeder assembly and led to wear on a critical groove, this design delivers an improved solution. The use of a bearing eliminates extraneous friction and promotes reliable operation. Both 608 and 626 bearings are supported by separate designs in this set. Only the 608 version has been extensively tested; I'd appreciate feedback if issues arise with the 626 model. Users can bypass tap preparation for the M4 threaded hole if the part is printed at a small enough layer height.
