This spacer enables users to fine-tune the height of each heater block separately, essential for experiments involving dual extrusion on the Ultimaker 2. The original spring proved inadequate under certain conditions and was replaced by a solid spacer on the UM2+, eliminating the possibility of height adjustment. Please note that this design is still experimental; you may need to scale the stationary component (insert) to achieve a snug fit for the threads, ensuring the spacer doesn't collapse under load. Only one adjustable spacer is required. The I2K version is a shorter variant suitable for use with the I2K washer from 3dSolex placed between the PTFE and the heater block.
