UM 2 iPhone (time-lapse) mount

Everyone loves watching 3D print movies in time-lapse mode, witnessing the magic of desktop printing unfold right before their eyes. However, setting up these shots can be a real challenge - tripods are often too bulky to fit on most desks, and capturing close-up shots is tricky. I designed this compact, articulated, multi-angle mount to solve that problem. The mount features both top and front shot options, with a secure frame clamp. Two printable files are included: one for the MakerBot Rep 2 and another for the Ultimaker 2, along with two phone clamps compatible with iPhone 5 & 6 models. Simply slide your phone into its mount, and you're good to go! You can also customize the setup by adding more joints to experiment with different shot angles or even use two phones at once. The goal is for people to remix this design with other printer mounts and phone holders to create unique setups. Please note that while the iPhone clamps are designed to securely hold both phones, make sure your devices are snugly fitted into their respective mounts - I wouldn't want anyone to experience a dropped phone or damaged printer. Print Settings: Rafts: 1 Resolution: 0.1 for sockets and thread Infill: High infill Tips: * Print the ball sockets and threaded parts at high infill for added strength. * Use fine resolution to ensure a tight fit, but be aware that over-extrusion may result in too-tight threads. * The frame mounts consist of two parts; attach both to the printer frame and slide them together. Post-Printing: The ball and socket joints might loosen after some time, so I've included snap ring files. Follow the exploded diagrams to fit these rings into the sockets' grooves - they may be tight to slide on, but they'll keep the articulated joints secure.
