Here's an idea for a clip-on device that attaches to your baseball cap hat: a distance-measuring sensor that displays proximity in lights via LEDs in front of you, showing exactly how close you are to objects. I'd be happy to share the code I used, although it's currently messed up and not working properly. I'm having trouble getting my code right now - please bear with me. At one point, it was fun to program and did work as intended: when standing at a certain distance from the sensor, the green lights in the middle lit up, while turning red if you got too close or too far away. If you're interested in programming this yourself, I'd recommend giving it a try. It's actually quite enjoyable learning how to control LEDs with an 'if' statement based on ultrasonic readings.
