A common requirement when working with Pixy is adding ranging capabilities so you can detect an object and determine its precise distance from you. This bracket allows for firm mounting of various types of ultrasonic sensors directly under the Pixy lens. Instructions: The bracket was designed specifically for the US-100 ultrasonic sensor shown in these images, which it fits securely. It also accommodates the SRF05 model with a slightly shorter and thicker PCB, thanks to the file known as US_Bracket-A. The HC-SR04 sensor is equipped with components positioned closer to the edge of its PCB, making it necessary to use the US_Bracket-B file instead. This particular version shortens one guide to facilitate this arrangement. Please note that I have not printed a 'B' off yet but it should provide sufficient hold. Mounting involves sliding the bracket over Pixy with the sensor inserted from above and secured against the lens body itself. Take care as the sensor's connector does obstruct a portion of Pixy's LED; to prevent any issues, consider removing the header and directly connecting wires to the sensor PCB in your project.
