ULTRAKILL Shotgun - Break Action
thingiverse
This is the Shotgun from Ultrakill! Featuring a moving pump handle and shells, with the same barrel break action from the game! This is a prop, so it doesn't actually fire. But, 3D printed shells can be loaded into it, along with pumping the handle being functional. The model comes straight from the game itself, slightly modified to include moving parts. READ BEFORE PRINTING: //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// !!!!! The Model is smaller than it's actual size. It should be about 350% bigger than what the files currently are. This can be edited in the slicer. !!!!! This is my first modeled project, so expect slight jank. It printed fine for me, but feel free to modify the models if you see fit if something isn't quite working for you. Some kind of glue is required, I definitely recommend superglue or E6000, since UKSBarrel, UKSHandle, and UKSStock require it. UKSHandle Undergoes a lot of weight from the rest of the model, so be careful with that one. I recommend a very low infill to lighten the weight and cut down on print time. I'd say ~5-10%. Also, I recommend generous tolerances with the moving parts. I didn't really account too much, but some subtraction in Horizontal Expansion should do it. Personally, I printed UKSPump and UKSBarrel first to test the tolerances since they brush close together. I printed it with ~ -0.05 Horizontal Expansion, but it will be different for your printer. Although not necessary, I recommend printing UKSBreakBack on it's side, so one hinge lays flat on the buildplate. This reinforces the outside hinges by layering them side-to-side rather than up-and-down. I experienced breaking from those outside hinges, so be mindful. (I'll probably fix it if I decide to rerelease this model). //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// I haven't tried, but printing UKSPump right side up will make the layering scrape when pumping, which is pretty loud. I'm pretty sure printing the layers parallel with the other parts should fix the sound, but sanding should also do it. The UKSIntake does clip into UKSBreakBack, so the gun should stay closed when you want it to. It connects because slight bumps on the left and right clip under UKSBreakBack's round parts. Only one of each model needs to be printed, except for UKSShell, which you'll need 2 or more, obviously. If any design flaws prevent you from printing, try sending a chat message and I'll attempt to respond. If you end up printing this, make sure to post a make. I'd love to see it. Thanks for your time. Happy SSShi*storming!
