Ultra-Slim PSU (60mm) Fan Muffler/Silencer (Ender-3/Ender-3 v2)
thingiverse
This is my take on a slim fan muffler for the Ender 3 v2 (should be compatible with any 60mm fan) It is only 10mm tall and takes up an area of about 80mmx120mm. I am also open to suggestions and feedback, so let me know how well this works for you! ### Recommendations: - Print with supports and mounting holes on the bed so that it can be easily screwed down. (supports can often deform the surface making this more difficult) - Make sure that the fan is blowing into the muffler, and not sucking air through it. - Use all 4 mounting screws when possible to have a better seal - If you don't care about how slim the model is and have room for a taller one, you should increase the z-axis to allow better airflow, up to 30mm. (This might also improve how well it muffles the sound but is untested) - Cut & use 1-3 layers of tape (such as electrical tape or duct tape) in the shape of the rim of the fan to act as a gasket.
