The hexagon was a bit too bulky, so I streamlined it entirely and created two distinct sizes. One accommodates three Advils, while the other can hold seven Advils or be filled with ointment, just like I'm planning to do. I printed the container using PETG and paired it with an O-Ring made from TPU. Although the O-Rings aren't strictly necessary, they enhance water sealing and add a touch of visual flair. The smaller one features our logo along with the letters UMF, while the larger one showcases the logo and spells out Ultra 2019 in bold letters. There are two versions of each size: rounded and standard. The rounded version has its edges slightly softened to make it less sharp. Choose your preference! Both containers were printed at a layer height of 0.2mm and underwent rigorous testing, which confirmed their water resistance for up to 20 minutes when submerged. If you opt for the smaller container, printing at 0.1mm would be ideal, as it makes it easier to screw on and off. However, I found that the extra thickness made it a bit harder to handle, so I merely performed some light sanding on the threads – just on the small one. For size reference, a water bottle cap sits atop the boxes, representing a standard 500ml water bottle.
