Ultra Lightweight All in one 8mm Bearing and Mount

This is my take on an ultralight LM8UU bearing and mount replacement for the Wanhao Duplicator I3's and its clones like my Maker Select V2.1. Its crazy light weight, very strong, requires no nuts, and weighs only 5g vs the stock 26g bearing and mount. I have found that possibly because of the length of this bearing the smallest misalignment will cause massive issues. It will be tight on your 8mm rod. I used a torch to heat up the 8mm rod and then with the bearings preferably on the carriage and still mounted in your printer aligned slide the carriage back and forth on the rod until it slides with ease. I found when tightening the screws that mount the bearing you have to go easy as to much torque will twist off the nut-less mounts. I also found that it is very important to tighten the bearings one at a time when aligning them to the rods sliding the carriage in between screws making sure the last screw didn't bind it all up. I'm working on printing out a lot of these kinks but for now it takes a lot of tinkering to get them working good but once you do they are great!
