A custom solution for mounting the Ultimate64 board within an old Commodore 64C casing, utilizing keyboard mounting brackets. The left bracket's design allows it to sit atop existing case mounts and secure in place using screws. This particular configuration leaves the supports intact for additional stability. In contrast, the right bracket accommodates the PCB by resting on the joystick connector while creating space for the keyboard connection. A notable detail is that this bracket features a piggybacked, right-angled design. When securing the keyboard, it's crucial to avoid piercing the keyboard wires with the screw. Using a smaller screw or being cautious during assembly can prevent this issue. These brackets have proven effective in my setup, utilizing alternative screws due to their unavailability. However, they should be compatible with any similarly sized screws. If necessary, the holes can be expanded slightly for better fitment. For those curious about the project's progression, I've had to work with limited resources – specifically, green filament.
