Ultimate64 Breadbin Side Panel Remix!

The original design for the Ultimate64 side panel by AE9RB was pretty good, however I noticed several areas that could be improved so I remixed it.

The most important change was better securing the side panel in place. I added to it with a portion that now goes up to the front right mounting hole and secured in place with an original C64 motherboard screw. This also allowed me to add on a clip that now securely holds the motherboard in place just to the right of the controller ports.

Miscellanous changes:
Thickened the bottom portion of panel to 3mm to match the standoffs height. No need to use the small original screws to hold the panel in place.
Added text above the ports to indicate what they are.
Added a support rib just above the ports to strengthen/reinforce the side piece.
Rounded edges to make it look a little cleaner.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

I3 MK3S

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

.28

Infill:

20

Filament:
Printed Solid PLA Black

Notes:

Print this text side down and with supports from the build plate.

Category: Games
