ULTIMATE Workout Bench Bowflex 3.1 Modification
thingiverse
I have updated the designs to account for a change by Boxflex, which has been confirmed to work flawlessly. The newer version includes even more adjustment options for the back, taking user comfort to the next level. However, there's still room for improvement when it comes to seat adjustment - that will be a future project on my agenda. https://youtu.be/mb6xCadXje8 I created these parts because I was not entirely satisfied with the amount of adjustment offered by my Bow-flex 3.1 bench. To put their strength to the test, I've previously pushed 3D prints beyond 1000 pounds without them breaking apart. Since this load is evenly distributed across a moderate surface area, there shouldn't be any issues with structural integrity. I don't recommend using PLA for these prints due to its limitations. To minimize vibration and ensure a smooth print process, I print very slowly on my ANET A8. This resulted in a total print time of approximately 20 hours. You might be able to achieve the same results in around 12-15 hours. The back spacer has an option to house two 1/2" x 1/8" rare earth disk magnets while printing, but I haven't had a chance to test this feature yet. There's some built-in tolerance to account for potential printer variations.
