I wanted to get my hands on The Ultimate Spool Holder Dry Box, but I needed a modified version that would work with 3KG rolls. I took thing 2929701 and customized the ends to fit perfectly into the Sterilite 54qt Gasket box from Target. The rest of the design remained unchanged. Additionally, I incorporated filament feeders from thing 3150891 because I preferred those designs. I also chose to use nuts on the threaded rod for assembly purposes instead of relying solely on glue. This decision helped me build a more sturdy and reliable system. Since I only require black and orange materials to accommodate 3KG rolls, there's still room in the container for possibly four rolls. However, moving it would be quite a hassle. **Bill of Materials** * 5/16 inch Plain Steel Round Rod from Home Depot (or any other supplier): cut two lengths of 46cm each * 5/16 nuts: eight per roll required * Sterilite 54qt Gasket Box with latches ($10.99): Target Item Number 002-02-0895 * Desiccant and bearings from a local supplier or online retailer: I may choose to add more desiccant in the future, as the container claims it can hold up to three cubic feet of space, and this box has a capacity of 1.8 cubic feet.
