Remix of the incredible "Ultimate Retropie Joystick Controller" by upperpeninsulaplastics. It adds support for snap-on buttons, Raspberry Pi 4 and extra buttons for turbo and autofire. Many thanks to upperpeninsulaplastics that shared their Fusion 360 design files. This remix also includes the design files, so you can modify them to fit your needs. My device uses a Sanwa joystick and snap-on buttons (see links below). As the snap-on buttons are pretty sensitive, the side buttons on the original design were replaced by dome push buttons to avoid interrupting the gameplay by mistakenly pressing the select button. The design uses six Apem done push buttons (see links below) to add auto and turbo fire functionalities. The Apem dome push buttons have a pleasing clicking feel and are less sensitive than the Sanwa buttons. Since they are smaller, it allows placing six of them on the device side. These six buttons are assigned to: - Select (push button in the original design) - Start (push button in the original design) - Autofire (unassigned in the original design) - Turbofire (unassigned in the original design) - Clear (unassigned in the original design - removes auto or turbo setting) - Mode (unassigned in the original design) As in the original design, the design includes a player 1 and player 2 controller. The player 1 controller was designed to embed a Raspberry Pi. Originally, only Pi 3 was supported. This design also includes a player 1 controller compatible with Raspberry Pi 4. The player 2 controller has no space for the Pi and should connect to the player 1 controller. These are the controllers/buttons used in my design. Many unbranded controllers and snap-on buttons are compatible with Sanwa. - Sanwa joystick - https://www.amazon.com/SANWA-JLF-TP-8YT-SK-Adjustable-Tournament-Compatible/dp/B005BIC9QE/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=sanwa&qid=1626006384&sr=8-3 - Sanwa snap-on buttons - https://www.amazon.com/White-Sanwa-Push-Buttons-OBSF-30-W/dp/B003KSB2YC/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=sanwa&qid=1626006555&sr=8-7 - Apem dome push buttons - https://www.apem.com/uk/serie-il-12.html You will also need: - 4 M4x8 screws with 4 M4 nuts (joystick) - 4 M3x6 screws (Raspberry Pi) - 4 M2.5 screws (Zero delay USB board).
