Ultimate Quad Cooling Tray (UQCT)

This 6th cooling tray version includes four 30mm fans, specifically designed for the J-head Mk5B hot end. The tray features four air jets to evenly cool prints and two additional jets for the upper peak part of the hot end. By doing so, it ensures effective cooling without affecting the table or melting zone on the hot end. Please rotate parts as Solidworks axis may not match printing software. Prerequisites include an X-carriage with locating holes for the UQCT. Available options are a Thingiverse link and an upcoming separate link. Tools and parts needed are CA glue or ABS glue, 16 M3 x 12mm bolts, and 4 M3 x 25mm bolts, along with four 30x30mm cooling fans. Instructions involve test-fitting the quad tray on the carriage, adjusting tray height, printing fan adapters, bolting fans into adapters, gluing adapter/fan assemblies onto the tray, and an optional advanced feature to suppress smooth rod clearing if necessary. Using a non-12 volt power supply allows wiring fans in series for better voltage matching. Enjoy improved cooling and longer hot end life!
