Ultimate Prusa Print Head (Modular)

Ultimate Prusa Print Head (Modular)

For nearly two years, I have been perfecting this print head design to ensure its extreme accuracy and versatility, as well as modularity. Originally created for my Geeetech i3 pro b (metal parts), the design has since evolved to be compatible with any Prusa printer. Why this design? This design stands out as one of the lightest direct drive print heads available without compromising usability. Here are some examples: * The modular design allows for easy removal and replacement of the print head in just two screws, whether you're using it with a Geeetech i3 pro b (with metal parts) or printing an adapter plate for a genuine Prusa. * The V6 can reach temperatures of up to 295°C or even 420°C with a simple thermocouple upgrade! * Equally impressive, the snappy Titan extruder can handle virtually any plastic you throw at it (but it works best when fed from the top instead of relying on your throwing arm). I have successfully printed with PLA, ABS, PET-G, TPU, and even Ninjaflex. * Lastly... the speed! As one of the lightest direct drive systems available, this design combines a super-close nozzle to the X-rails (reducing wobble effects) for some great speeds. I usually run perimeters at 70mm/s and infill at 150mm/s. To replicate this print head, you will need both "Fan_Mount" files as well as the "Fan_Duct_v1." Additionally, these print head files require two square M4 nuts. If you don't plan on frequently removing the print head (I do, since I'm working on multiple heads), you can print the "Plastic_Nut" file twice and glue them into the slots instead of actual metal ones. Geeetech Printer (metal parts) Anyone looking to create this for their Geeetech i3 pro b (metal parts) will need to download one of the print head files with "Metal_Carriage" in the name. There is a standard version as well as one for a BL Touch and another for an induction sensor. Any other Prusa To make this for any other Prusa i3, you'll need to print out the "Carriage.stl" to attach the print head to your printer. Also, ensure you print out the appropriate print head file (it must have "Plastic_Carriage" in the name). These print heads come in three variants: 1. Standard 2. BLTouch 3.
