Ultimate Parametric LACK Enclosure - Plexi thickness & Pedestal Mounting Fix
thingiverse
I love parametric stuff, so I was ecstatic when I found the Ultimate Parametric LACK Enclosure by BuzzAldrin! Unfortunately it didn't *quite* meet my needs, but Buzz was kind enough to share his Fusion 360 file so I could make the modifications I wanted. Summary of changes: >>> 1) Isolated the plexi thickness of each side to a separate parameter (so you can use different materials on each side. I'm using plywood for the left and back walls). 2) Added mounting holes to the pedestals and corresponding voids in the brackets for the screw heads to fit into. 3) Fixed some sketch geometry that had a tendency to break when you messed with plexi thickness. 4) Grouped all moving door parts to the ~Bottom Hinge Metal Pin Option~ joints for easier use. Disclaimer: I'm currently printing these parts so I don't know if they work yet so just to be safe, I'd recommend only using the ~Pedestals~ and ~Brackets~ from my Fusion file until I know whether any of my changes are problematic. If you're reading this in the far-flung future and I haven't updated this, it's probably safe to assume it all works as intended ;)
