Ultimate NozzleBox Tag Hanger for Extrusion Indicators

Ultimate NozzleBox Tag Hanger for Extrusion Indicators

I finally started getting into swapping nozzles on my MK3S and needed a solution for storing my nozzles. I found the excellent Ultimate NozzleBox remix v2 by ploebb, which made my day. Unfortunately, my extruder doesn't have a convenient place to put the nozzle tags, so I decided to create something quickly to glue to the center of my extrusion indicator where I can hang the tags. I fired up FreeCAD and created this very simple object, including the FreeCAD file for remixing. It probably took me around 10 minutes to design it. Below is the sketch and resulting object from the revolve operation - a perfect example of coincidence? I also exported this object as a STEP file for those who don't use FreeCAD, so they can include it into their own designs or use it as a starting point for a remix. I sliced this in PrusaSlicer v2.1.0 and included the .3mf file to see my print settings. It was sliced at 0.1mm layer height (first layer 0.15mm due to that being the thinnest first layer my printer will do). I didn't bother with infill, and only used 3 perimeters. It is plenty strong for its application, and only takes about 5-6 minutes to print.
