Ultimate Mavic Mini Phone Holder. This phone holder for Mavic Mini features a hinged sun hood that can be flipped up for easy removal of the phone from the holder. Two x 20mm Velcro Dots hold the phone in place, securing it against everyday bumps, knocks, and shaking you might subject an r/c controller to. The hinge is printed in place, with a short length of 1.75mm dia PLA filament used as the hinge pin, but can be swapped for a metal pin if desired. Note the "bridge" on the bottom tray over the hole where the phone's USB connection meets the controller. Initially, this bridge seems like a good idea to help overcome printing difficulties, but it was actually removed on mine, making it easy to insert the phone's USB lead. Passing the lead through a hole and plugging it in can be challenging... removing the bridge after printing makes it simple and doesn't affect screen reflection. This phone holder is versatile, allowing full range of movement on the copter sticks while keeping all controller buttons visible. It works seamlessly with the short USB lead that comes with the controller, eliminating the need for a longer cable. Print the sunhood part with black filament for the best results. The model can be printed as one piece, but it was split into two parts to allow for modifications to each section if needed.
