Ultimate Frame Brace, Anet a8 (no drilling needed)
thingiverse
This is a no-drill option for my post on the Ultimate Frame bracing, Anet A8 and more. Please read it first: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3152453. Also check out the LED mounts you can print and put on your threaded rod: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3179195. _____________________________________________ This is an option for those who prefer not to drill holes to mount the two upper bracket parts in my ultimate frame brace design. This is accomplished by printing the two attached pieces that act as replacements for the two upper bracket parts in the original make. To limit confusion, I direct you to print everything else as directed from the original post above. If you need directions or more pictures, follow that post with the exception of replacing your top Anet A8 parts instead of the upper brackets. The two parts are simply modified versions of the stock design of your top plates. The only change is on the very front to accommodate the mounting of rods to the front. The rod hole, the Z rod hole, and other geometry of the stock design are retained. If you're wondering why in the third picture the Z rod appears to have a cap, that's just an Anti-Z Wobble print: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2121017
