To color your filament without printing parts, follow these steps: drill a 1.75mm hole in a Sharpie casing; remove its tip using needle-nose pliers; heat the end of your filament with a cigarette lighter (20mm from the end); pull away the heated section to form a pointed tip; cut any strings for a smooth finish; straighten 15cm filament post-tip; insert the pointed filament into the Sharpie's drilled hole, possibly rotating it to pass through; finally, cover the hole with tape when not in use.
