Ultimate Disc Scoreboard - the ScoreDisc

I designed a scoreboard for ultimate that fits perfectly in a disc. First, I 3D printed 18 segments in black and 18 in white using ABS with 10% infill. Then, I superglued the halves together and let them dry completely. Next, I 2D printed the disc template PDF, set up for standard 8.5x11 paper, and used it as a guide to drill holes in the disc. I cut out the circle, taped it to the disc, and marked all the spots to drill with sharpie dots. The ink bleeds through from the paper to the disc after just a few seconds, making it easy to mark the correct locations. I drilled 1/8" holes, totaling 18 in all, with 9 per team. To attach the segments to the disc, I used nylon cord (like Dritz 9342B or similar 1/16" elastic cord). For each segment, I tied a square knot that provides the right amount of tension. The key is finding the perfect balance: enough to keep the pieces flat but not so much that they're hard to flip over. Some people swear by using one long piece of cord and tightening it all at once for easier results.
