I play VR and need extra switches so I built this based on Martin_hov_93's shifter. I also built in the Zero Delay Arcade USB Encoder to eliminate strain from all those switch wires, which seemed very inflexible. Added spots for extra switches, 2 miniature momentary on-off-on switches and 3 momentary push switches (12mm) for a total of 7 extra buttons to map. If using Simplify3D, you will need to "separate connected surfaces" for Knobtest2.stl otherwise the part will glitch out. This part also needs support. Used self-tapping 3mm screws for any connections. Hot glue to attach the knob; it can bond quite well so double-check all switches are working in Windows before gluing. Heated the mini-toggle knobs with a lighter to help them slide onto switches. Buttonknob.stl seems fine, just press fit in. Be careful not to break your solder off the button when installing (soldering wires at an angle can help). This one works great for missiles; what game are we playing again?
