Effortlessly switch between 38mm filament spools with this free-spinning spool holder, designed to reduce friction and ensure a smooth printing experience. The convenient slots enable quick and easy spool securing using a filament clip; additionally, you won't lose your clips! Available in both long (5lb) and short (2.2lb) versions, the long holder supports both weights. Both 1.75mm and 3.0mm filament clips are compatible with this project. This holder requires a 5/16" x 3.5" hex head bolt (for the short 2.2lb spool holder) or a 5/16" x 5.5" hex head bolt (for the long 5lb spool holder), a 5/16" lock nut, a 1/2" socket, and printed parts. Print without support or raft; remove supports from the Spool Holder Mount, insert the bolt flush, slide on the Spool Holder, adjust for smooth rotation if needed, attach the lock nut with a 1/2" socket, tighten securely but not too tightly, and enjoy your new spool holder! Print settings: Spool Mount - 100% infill, 2 shells, 0.1mm height; Spool Holder - 25% infill, 2 shells, 0.2mm height; Filament Clip - 15% infill, 2 shells, 0.1mm height.
