Ultimaker2 Template for Simplify3d

Ultimaker 2 Template for Simplify3D This remix of Mike Bogutsch's Wanhao Template for S3D has been made possible with his permission. I have incorporated his instructions below. The template is designed specifically for Simplify3D, although some users claim it also works with other slicers. For now, the template is only compatible with the Ultimaker2, but plans are underway to adapt it for the UMO and UM3 models as well. To install the Simplify3D template: Copy the STL file (e.g. UltimakerPrintBed.stl) to the following folder: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Simplify3D\S3D software Launch Simplify3D and export your FFF profile to the desktop by selecting File->Export FFF Profile. Next, open the exported profile with a text editor like Notepad and search for the specific entries around line 145. You will need to modify these lines: overridePrinterModels>0</overridePrinterModels printerModelsOverride></printerModelsOverride Change the upper value from 0 to 1 and replace it with the name of your template in the format 'TEMPLATE_NAME.STL', as shown below: overridePrinterModels>1</overridePrinterModels printerModelsOverride>TEMPLATE_NAME.STL</printerModelsOverride If overridePrinterModels is already set to 1, you won't need to make any changes. Save the modified FFF profile and import it back into Simplify3D. Restart the application for the changes to take effect. Tip: If your template appears to be off-center, try importing the model into Simplify3D, adjusting its position as needed, and then exporting it again by selecting File->Export Models->Export Binary STL.
With this file you will be able to print Ultimaker2 Template for Simplify3d with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Ultimaker2 Template for Simplify3d.
