Ultimaker: Z-axis end-switch fine-adjuster, Switch mount
thingiverse
The switch mounting bracket simplifies z-height adjustment, as proposed by GeneralRulofDumb. It avoids interference with filament spools and transport issues caused by external switches. Instead of drilling holes, this bracket attaches to existing frame slots using a switch hole and an additional one in the bracket. Recessed nuts secure both components. To install, place the assembly on the left, using the right switch hole and left frame slot with an M3x20 screw and washer. Utilize GeneralRulofDumb's 'Ultimaker Z-axis end-switch fine-adjuster' (stl included) for adjustments. Although it accommodates various printers, alignment can be fiddly; use the original hex tool for assistance.
