Ultimaker V3.0
grabcad
This is my third 3D printer design; previously, I created a Prusa Mendel and a Mendel Max. My latest creation is inspired by the Ultimaker, which uses linear shafts as rotary transmissions. Despite not updating it for nearly a year, I've decided to release the design as it stands. Key features include an 8.5x8.5x8.5 build area, compact size, and components sourced from Misumi, such as aluminum extrusions, trapezoid lead screws, and nuts. It also incorporates 2mm GTS pulleys and belts, Frelon-lined linear bearings for smooth motion, a Makergear nozzle, and Ultimachine NEMA 17 stepper motors. The bill of materials is partially completed, with items such as the extruder motor, electronics, plexiglass side covers, and filament spool holder still to be added. The model was created in Inventor 2012 and last opened in 2013; however, it's unclear whether this conversion affected the file format.
With this file you will be able to print Ultimaker V3.0 with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Ultimaker V3.0.
