This setup currently prints at 20-micron layers. It features a redesigned Ultimaker extruder with a MakerBot Mk6 drive gear and a second-generation bolt from Ultimaker. The design also works with a Bowden Clamp available at www.thingiverse.com/thing:17027. Instructions: Remember that M92 X78.74 Y78.74 E610. This extruder uses a Makerbot Mk6 drive gear, and the bearings next to it are 106 model. The drive shaft is a 6mm dia brass rod, which can be replaced with an M6 x 28-30mm SHCS if needed. Fit the drive gear and tighten the grub screw to create a flat for finishing flush with the gear's exterior. A tension block has been created to help users find the best tension for their prints. It is recommended not to purchase springs, but rather try out the Tension Block first. To assemble the filament compression handle, use an M6x15 SHCS and a brass M6 threaded insert. A Century Spring Corp spring with OD10.53 (0.415") and Length 29.5 (1.162") Wire Dia 1.46 (0.57") can be used, available from the Big Green Shed in Australia. Additional hardware can be purchased from http://www.smallparts.com.au/ and http://www.hobbyparts.com.au. For "Part 10A and C Combo Mk2," support is required during printing. Slice parts in Slic3r with 0.2mm layers, 0.3 fill density, 6 solid layers, and 3-4 perimeters. To prevent extrusion issues, ensure the gear is solid at the nut interface. The white bowden tube clamp can be secured using electrical tape or by using the "V2 Bowden Clamp Cap." A new part for Thing:17027 - "V2 Bowden Clamp for Thing 17027" has been created.
