To print the file in nice colors, follow these steps: screw it onto the Ultimaker extruder head using the existing plunge or printing a new one with just rubber. The trick is to use the filament to push the plunge. For better retraction, light up the filament and melt it to the plunge. Play around with the settings - the extruder speed needs to be way slower! Start with simple shapes if the filament grinds, detach it from the plunge, cut 7 cm, and melt again. What I still need is a simple thing to attach to the sliding blocks that hits the end stops - maybe something clicked or screw that's easy to remove when printing normally. It should work just as well on a MakerBot too!
