Ultimaker spool holder

Hello! This is a side mounted spool holder I designed for my Ultimaker to replace the stock rear mounted holder. You'll need four m4 x 20 screws to secure the arms to the main body. There's also a recess on the back of each arm for some 3m double sided tape which will prevent them from bowing when using heavier spools. Benefits over the stock holder: - Easier to load filament - Can handle 1kg spools - Easy to see how much material is left - You don't have to pull you printer out every time you have to change filament - Fits all Ultimakers ( unless the ledge is wider than 7mm ) - Tapered design allows for easier loading of wide spools Drawbacks: - Doesn't recognize Ultimaker brand filament - Over time the spool can mark up the side of the printer ( as you can see in the pictures ) Specs and stuff - The minimum filament spool center diameter is 50mm ( you can't use a spool with a center diameter less than 50mm ) - Max spool width is 70mm ( wider spools can be used but will hang off the side ) If you have any questions just message me and ill try to help.
