This has been engineered to enable Ultimaker 3 and S5 makers to utilize larger spools of filament, particularly the 2.3kg rolls offered by FormFutura. As build size expands, so does the need for more plastic in your spools. Simply take out the factory spool holder and attach this one in its place. It fits seamlessly into the existing location without any modification required.
