Ultimaker Rp 1/8" Bowden Push Fit Connector
pinshape
Summary Update: now tested, worked great as it was! Still untested design for mounting 1/8" pneumatic push fit connectors that actually performs flawlessly. The design is based on hugokernel's http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:177209 but heavily modified to provide a more streamlined and simplified experience. I also significantly refined the thread library, ensuring that the pitch is accurately calculated, although it may still work without modification. To achieve optimal structural stiffness, I experimented with different hulls, resulting in a design that should meet your expectations. Update: introduced a correction factor to make the threading a perfect fit. With this update, the 1/8" connection now works seamlessly, leaving only the M3 hole distances and diameters to be tested. Fortunately, these components are also perfectly fitting. Instructions Printing with a 0.06mm layer height produces exceptional results, and it's likely that 0.1 will yield similar outcomes. To assemble the connector, simply print the design and drill the bottom of the component. However, exercise caution: stop drilling as soon as you hit the rubber sealing to avoid compromising the locking mechanism.
