Ultimaker Original Plus Fanshroud

I designed this fan shroud to upgrade my Ultimaker Original Plus, allowing me to swap out the original with alternative nozzles compatible with the Ultimaker 2. The new design avoids collision with the print bed that plagued the stock model. Many fans have created their own versions, but mine stands apart due to its simplicity. Unlike others, which often employ spacers between components, this shroud can be built using only the standard Ultimaker nuts and bolts I already had on hand. The clever design ensures a secure fit by matching the thickness of the fan, eliminating the need for additional hardware. To assemble correctly, ensure your heater block is oriented in the same manner as mine. Printing this model standing upright with its side facing the extruder will yield a support-free print.
