Ultimaker Original - Marlin v2 (2.0.4.4)

Ultimaker Original is a fantastic machine, thanks to its innovative kinematics, exceptional build quality, and impressive upgradability. Unfortunately, the UMO's firmware has been stuck on an outdated version of Marlin v1 RC1 for seven years now. Trying to get advanced features like TMC2130s or BL Touch working can be extremely challenging. The code is also severely outdated, making it difficult to take advantage of new features. If you compare the old UMO firmware with the latest Marlin v2 version, you'll find that over 50% of the code has changed. This means it's a time-consuming process to update the firmware manually. I've been there and done that! I've manually updated my UMO firmware to Marlin v2.0.4.4, and I've tried to keep it as stock as possible. The only changes I made were PID tuning for my original heat block and E3D's nozzle, and a generic character-based "12864 LCD" configuration. If you want to roll back to the previous firmware version, simply do "check for updates" from Cure while your printer is connected via USB. If anyone can provide PID tuning numbers for the original nozzle or an Ultipanel-specific config, I'd be happy to update my firmware to make it as generic as possible. Thanks, Kris.
