I was noticing that my electronics board on my Ultimaker Original+ were heating up excessively during longer prints. That's why I created a drop-in, tool-less replacement for the laser-cut wood protector. I derived the original idea from Neatherbot's YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/neatherbot), whose design fits the Ultimaker Original perfectly. However, his screw pattern doesn't align with my machine due to its slight variations between the two models. Two 50mm fans from Amazon solved the overheating issue (http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-Replacement-Computer-Connector-FAN5X1TX3/dp/B00006B8CM/ref=sr_1_sc_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1417300479&sr=1-2-spell&keywords=50mm+fan+star+tech).
