The instructions involve using a 13x11x6mm forked light barrier. Firstly, print the Ultimaker Z-axis end-switch fine-adjuster (available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:11033). Then, insert two nuts into the designated notches. Proceed to attach a forked light barrier from an old desk scanner. Next, integrate a resistor for the IR LED and connect a three-wire ribbon cable (ground to LED K and photo transistor E). After that, modify the end switch for z endstop by cutting the middle wire and soldering it to the other pin. Proceed with soldering the components to the electronics (LED A to +5V, LED K and photo transistor E to GND, and photo transistor C to input). Lastly, modify the firmware by changing Z_ENDSTOPS_INVERTING to false.
