Reduce noise by replacing a wood mounting plate with sound-absorbing material. Use soft PLA or print as templates for other materials. Two versions available: one for x-axis motors (narrower for rubber grommits) and another for z-axis and extruder motors. Tested successfully. Print replacement plate, remove original motor mount plate, install new motor, check screws after printing, ensure belt tension remains correct. Note that UM's stock POT setting may be too high, causing motors to overheat; adjust accordingly for safe operation.
