This is an exciting, easy-to-follow introduction to 3D Design + 3D printing snowflake ornament project for people of all ages and skill levels. All the attached 3D models were created by Liz Arum of Ultimaker Education using Morphi app (www.morphiapp.com) as part of a comprehensive Intro to 3D Design + 3D printing project with Ultimaker + Morphi app for 5th grade students at New Lab in Brooklyn. Morphi is an intuitive, powerful, and easy-to-learn 3D design app used in over 115 countries for 3d Printing, Augmented Reality, and more. It's free to download and design in Morphi, and just $4.99 per device (a one-time volume price for education, no subscriptions) to unlock file STL/OBJ export, import, and AR. The attached STL files include: * 6 different snowflake ornaments * A blank inner hexagon that can be personalized and snaps into each ornament Steps: Print any or all the attached ornaments. Download the inner hex file and personalize the hexagon with your name, initials, or favorite word using Morphi or your favorite software. Print out the hexagon and snap it into the ornament.
