The original PLA fan ducts were melting against lower aluminum heat sinks, necessitating a low-profile holder for the fan duct and maintaining clearance for the hot end's top. The design works perfectly and allows easy mounting of fans on both sides for dual extrusion support. It requires printing with 0.2mm layers and attaching to the fan duct using M3x10 cap screws. The updated (Mk2) version features a simplified design with stronger support arms, as the previous Mk1 was too fragile.
