At Makespace in Cambridge, we outfit our Ultimakers with nifty lids from Github's Tinamous, which keep smells and heat inside while providing a spot for Raspberry Pi and webcam mounting. The Pi requires a power supply; often people forget to reconnect it after maintenance if they remove the lid, so this connector solves that problem by using sprung contacts to supply the power to the lid. This connector fits onto the Ultimaker with its existing screws and could be used to provide power for any accessories that sit on top of the printer.
