Ultimaker Inspired Cupcake Gantry

This initial redesign focuses on enhancing the cupcake's build volume using an Ultimaker 3-axis setup, ensuring compatibility with existing cupcakes. The images illustrate a build volume of 194mm x 132.5mm x 145mm, approximately 2.5 times larger than the original without increasing exterior dimensions. Threaded inserts for thermoplastic parts are used instead of through-bolts to allow for blind holes due to limited space. This project is a work in progress with a full parts list and detailed instructions to be released soon. The design incorporates Mk5/Mk6 toolheads, short bowden-style extruder tubes, and Gen3/Gen4 electronics (with Gen4 strongly recommended). The current license is GNU-GPL, which aligns with the cupcake, but will be updated upon release of Ultimaker files. Print 10 rod adjusters, one each of x-, y-, and center bearing blocks, two Z-axis rod adjusters, four z stiffeners, and one z support for assembly. Additional parts can be purchased from SDP-SI and Mcmaster. Stay tuned for further updates.
