Create a high-temperature silicone "sock" for your Ultimaker hot end using a multipart mold that reduces heat transfer to the cooling airflow, lowering temperatures and improving cooling. V11 design features enhanced temperature gradient and reduced clogging risk. Assemble and cast the mold with vaseline and #6 bolts, allowing silicone to cure before carefully removing it. Soak in soapy water followed by a dishwasher cycle to remove vaseline residue before installing on hot end.
